What Time Are The Tonys, Hugh Jackman?

by Mallory Schlossberg

Theater geeks and non theater geeks, unite! It's one of the greatest awards show there is — and not just because Hugh Jackman will be the master of ceremonies as the evening's host. The Tony Awards is a stellar show to watch since it's a performance by performers. And this year, with quite a roster of star-studded appearances, it's a must-watch. But — when can you actually watch The Tony Awards ? Don't sit alone in your room belting "Let It Go!" Learn Idina Menzel's new songs from her new musical If/Then, and find out when you can tune in.

The 68th Tony Awards will air on Sunday, June 8 at 8:00 PM EST — so that's 7:00 PM for you Central and Mountain time folks. West Coast viewers won't be able to watch the show live, as it will air at 8:00 PM PT, but you can check around the Internet, no doubt, for ample coverage, live tweets. And never underestimate the power of celebrity Instagrams!

Beginning at 7 PM EST, you can see pre-show coverage (oh, the theatrical dresses!), and red carpet interviews. And these will be interviews you'll want to watch, even if you don't consider yourself a Broadway darling. Besides, Neil Patrick Harris will be there, and he is a viable candidate for Best Actor in A Musical with his role in Hedwig And The Angry inch, and Idina Menzel will be performing. You know that means some serious power belting.

So clear your night, and tune in live! Because is there anything more fabulous than watching live theater (...on your television screen)?
