The Custody Battle Is Over For Bethenny

by Caitlyn Callegari

It's official: The war between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy is finally over. After a bitter divorce and an even messier court battle, it seems that reality star and talk show host, Bethenny Frankel, and ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, have finally settled their ugly custody dispute. The settlement comes as a bit of a surprise considering claims that surfaced just last week about how Hoppy had allegedly declared war on Frankel over their four year old, Bryn. Frankel also claimed in court that Hoppy had spitefully left his excrement and urine in her home toilets, as a way of getting back at her. (Say it with us, ew.)

While we haven't heard of the former Real Housewives of New York star's feelings over the ruling, we certainly know how her ex feels about it. Hoppy released a statement through his publicist that shows he's nothing other than elated. The statement reads, "My client is delighted that this custody dispute has been resolved; that his co-parenting status has been acknowledged; that the parties' child will have the benefit of being raised by both parents; and most importantly, that his daughter will no longer be at the mercy of a high-profile courtroom battle."

Regardless of how they got to this point, the agreement is a positive and hopeful step forward for both Frankel, Hoppy, and their daughter. Hoppy even went on to wish Frankel luck in her future endeavors and noted that he is excited to share in Bryn's life together with her.

We wish them the best.
