On Wednesday's The Tonight Show, Tom Cruise stopped by to talk about his new movie Edge of Tomorrow and toss around the pigskin with Jimmy Fallon. Cruise and Fallon competed in a game of Face Breakers — the new game involves Cruise throwing a football at Fallon's head and vice versa. Don't worry, it wasn't as violent as you may think. The heads were actually pictures of the two men on panes of glass, and the goal was to be the first to break all the windows with your opponent's face on them.
Fallon is known for inventing wacky challenges that celebs always gamely participate in. I don't know what it is, but he has some magical power that can convince celebrities to do the funniest things. How else would he get Zac Efron and Seth Rogan to play easily disgusted teenage girls and get the Full House guys to reunite to sing him to sleep?
Of course, Fallon didn't have to do much convincing to get Cruise to chuck footballs at plates of glass. The actor was so competitive and overzealous that on his first throw he broke not only the glass, but the frame holding it. Watch the two men compete in the funny clip below:
