Aeropostale's Summer 'Pretty Little Liars' Collection Is Pretty Enough For Fans and Non-Fans Alike

There are a lot of reasons to watch Pretty Little Liars — first and foremost is the show's delightfully mercurial, twisty-turny plot. But we definitely have a close second in the show's costuming: Each character is so carefully outfitted in perfectly curated pieces that the clothes have become like a fifth little liar on the show.

Sometimes, I can't even pin down a favorite style sense — though choosing a fashion alliance is practically a prerequisite to joining the fandom, it's a seriously difficult task: I identify most with the artistic, vintage-driven Aria Montgomery, but I can't help but envy Spencer Hastings' preppy animal-printed button downs, Hanna Marin's on-trend brights, and Emily Fields' "I just woke up like this" cool girl duds. And that's all due to Mandi Line, Costume Designer Extraordinaire.

Now Ms. Line has taken to creating her own line (no pun intended)... for the third time. Yes, this summer collection marks her third collaboration with Aeropostale — and what a union, eh? It's the perfect match for the show's largely pre-teen/teen fanbase (though older followers of the show like yours truly can also rejoice at the ultra-reasonable price point). Check out the gallery for some of the best looks from a fun-filled collection that fans and non-fans alike are sure to get a kick out of.

Aria's Summer Slip Dress

Leave it to Aria to find a way to somehow combine plaid and roses. Though the unique print isn’t the only thing that sets this dress apart — I’m also a sucker for a floaty hemline and a sweetheart neckline!

Hanna's Romantic Florals

Leave it to Hanna to give us the most wearable dress of the collection! Plus, true to character, this dress is on-trend on all fronts: It features a Peter Pan collar, a cutout on the back, a graphic print, and a floaty chiffon skirt that’s perfect for everything from the first day of school to your cousin’s summer wedding.

Spencer's Cheetah Printed Button Down

Line finds a way to almost constantly slip some kind of animal into Spencer’s styling, usually in the form of a quirky print, jewelry, or even a funky intarsia sweater. It’s a character detail we love, and this delicately detailed blouse livens up Spencer’s ultra-preppy leanings with a belly-baring tie at the waist.

Spencer's Winged Statement Necklace

Well, we’ve established that Spencer favors animal-inspired pieces — so why not double down like a true Hastings over-achiever? Besides, collar-styled necklaces are super in right now, and this winged/rhinestoned number is about as fabulous as they come.

"Who is A" T Shirt

That’s it, that’s the show: Who is A?? And now, the show’s relentless question is a shirt, and quite a cute one too. There’s something special about the cut of this shirt that elevates it from your average T — the boxy look is sure to both chic and flattering.

Emily's Graphic Crop Top

The lightning bolt graphic and the mesh detailing make this the perfect Emily fashion choice. And the versatility is great: Though Ms. Emily would likely pair this with skinny jeans and booties, it could also work with a circle skirt or high-waisted shorts for summer!

Aria's Chain Link Bracelet

You’ll find Ms. Montgomery somewhere at the junction between girly and punk, and this bracelet is the perfect exemplar of that. Because who else would pair baby pink braids with oversized bronze chains? Only Aria.
