Of Course He Can't Be Single

Here's the deal: I absolutely love USA's drama series Graceland. Sure, for a show based on a true concept, it took a lot of time deciding its tone. Did Graceland want to be on the darker, grittier side of the TV spectrum or glossy like many of its USA sister shows? By the end of Season 1, however, the show had found its footing, thanks in large part to the great work from seasoned actor Daniel Sunjata, who plays Paul Briggs, and his newer counterpart, Aaron Tveit, the actor behind Mike Warren. Whether or not you know him from his previous work, you've undoubtedly fallen in love with Tveit and have to ask: is he single?

Before we give you the answer to that cruicial question, let's look back at Tveit's career to understand how exactly he became the adorable, talented star of Graceland. Tveit came from the Broadway world, working on two particularly notable musicals, Next to Normal and Catch Me If You Can . By the time he was cast on Graceland he'd also gained experience in film and TV. Tveit had guest starring and recurring roles on Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl, and Law and Order: SVU, among other shows. And who could forget his brilliant work in Les Miserables as Enjolras, where he stole scenes from pretty much everyone—seriously, why couldn't he have done more singing over Russell Crowe?

We've already spent all 12 episodes of season 1 falling in love with Aaron and the rest of the Graceland gang, and we'll probably fall even harder when the show returns Wednesday night for Season 2. So while we all fawn over Aaron for another season, why not find out if he is actually within our reach? After a little digging, it looks like our dreams of being with the actor might be just that, dreams. But there's still hope.

About a year ago, the New York Post interviewed Tveit and confirmed that he does have a girlfriend—well, that he did in June 2013. It's been over a year since he's said anything else on the matter and he might just be too busy filming Graceland to update the public on his relationship status. Of course that could also mean he's too busy to have a girlfriend. The only thing we know for sure is that Tveit likes to keep his personal life private, so try not to get your hopes up too much.

No matter what Tveit's relationship status actually is, I know I'll still be watching season 2 of Graceland. At least while watching the show we can all pretend we have a shot with Mike.
