She Gets Mistaken for WHO?!

Keira Knightley has a very distinct look: Shoulder-length brown hair, small features, gorgeous large eyes, cheek-bones that rival Mount Kilimanjaro, and a very slender frame. So it comes as a huge surprise to find out that Keira Knightley has been mistaken for Britney Spears — more than once. Wait, what?

She may be an Oscar-nominee from England, but somehow, inexplicably, the actress is mistaken for the "One More Time" bombshell on a somewhat regular basis. She spoke on The Graham Norton Show about being mistaken for other famous ladies:

The one that's surprising is Britney Spears. I get quite excited because I quite like the idea that I could do like that [mimes shimmying], which I can't do. So I've been Britney Spears like three times.

Norton asked the actress if she'd sign an autograph as Britney Spears, to which she responded: "Oh definitely sign, and have a picture. Absolutely." Other than the "Work, Bitch" singer, Knightley's celebrity doppelgangers make a bit more sense. Natalie Portman is a common one, as Knightley actually played Portman's handmaiden in 1999's Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.

Natalie Portman I get a lot, and I get chased through airports. I feel quite sorry for her because she must get chased a lot because it's happened like five times where someone's been like 'NATALIE, NATALIE, NATALIE.' And I'll sign and take a picture as Natalie.

The actress also revealed she is compared to Kate Winslet. While Winslet, like Spears, is also a blonde, both Knightley and Winslet are British actors with far more comparable bodies of work. I suppose Knightley and Spears are both hard-working ladies of a certain age, and even Knightley isn't adverse to a sparkly top and some sass every now and again.
