Surprise! They Just Got Married

by Kadeen Griffiths

It appears that some celebrities can keep a secret after all. Or maybe Zachary Levi really is Chuck Bartowski, endowed with all of the United States' greatest spy secrets. Apparently, the Chuck star got married over the weekend in Maui in a secret wedding to his secret girlfriend. I repeat: Chuck's Zachary Levi and Missy Peregrym got married secretly over the weekend and few of us knew they were even dating.

The couple announced the news on Monday when Missy Peregrym sent out a tweet that included a picture of the two of them wearing "Mr and Mrs" hoodies. It included the hashtag #marriedinmaui. The story was further corroborated by Avatar actor Joel David Moore, who was spotted with Levi and some other friends on the beach in Maui over the weekend. He tweeted, "Congrats to @ZacharyLevi and @mperegrym on their stunning wedding and beautiful future. Couldn't be happier for my brother & my new sis pal."

Moore then followed that up with another tweet of the groomsmen along with the caption, "Furthermore, I'm exhausted and terrible with secrets. So from all the boys, thanks for lifting the veil. #punintended."

But the sweetest part of the entire thing was the bride herself. In early June, Peregrym tweeted a message to Levi congratulating him on his performance at the Tonys.

Now, in post-wedding bliss, she has followed up with:

Levi retweeted her post and added an equally adorable message of his own:

Awww! There's no word on exactly how long Levi and Peregrym have been dating and there are very few pictures of the actor and actress together, probably because secret agents are by nature very good at keeping secrets, but it's hard not to be happy for them. After all, the two of them are practically glowing not only with newlywed bliss but with sheer childlike glee at having pulled something off so spectacularly.

And who can blame them? It's so rare for celebrities to get private moments to themselves, especially for such a life-changing ceremony, that it's worth celebrating. Not to mention the two of them seem to be deeply in love and that alone is worth celebrating. Sorry guys and guys, but Zachary Levi and Missy Peregrym are officially off the market. Pass the Kleenex and pass on your congratulations!
