Watch the Trailer for 'The Two Faces of January'

As if Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst didn't already make the most attractive fake couple ever, the full trailer for their new film The Two Faces of January will leave you on the edge of your seat. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith, writer of other psychological thrillers such as The Talented Mr. Ripley. Like the novel, the film follows a couple on vacation in Greece in 1962 who become entangled with tour guide and scam artist Rydal (played by Oscar Isaac). Husband Chester McFarland accidently kills a Greek policeman who's investigating him, and when Rydal helps them he becomes infatuated with his wife Colette in a dangerous love triangle. Throughout the story, the duality of the nature of each character is slowly revealed.

And the trailer does an excellent job of summarizing the film's theme of duality. The sunny beauty of Greece turns dark on a dime, with scenes of Mortensen's character dragging a body down the halls of his hotel. Telling glances, both seductive and malevolent, are exchanged between characters while the soundtrack of violins builds, sounding like the strings are threatening to break.

So far, the film has received positive advance reviews, and with accomplished actors like Dunst and Mortensen it's easy to see why. But if you don't believe the reviews, take a look at the trailer, which will have your heart beating faster in suspense in a matter of minutes.
