Forget any other how-to articles on what you should wear to impress your date. If you're going to take advice from anyone about date night attire, let it be Victoria Beckham. Because aside from the fact that she is one of the most stylish women on the planet, she also bagged one of the most handsome men in the entire world — David Beckham. And today, Posh Spice revealed exactly what she was wearing when her husband-to-be fell head over heels for her.
In what might be the ultimate #TBT, Beckham took to her Twitter account this morning to share her incredible find.
And although the little number screams 1990s, it is, in fact, super, super cute. The belted, suede minidress from an unnamed designer is the perfect date night outfit. It's memorable, sexy, but simple. I'm actually a little surprised she wasn't wearing a LBD (since that was Posh Spice's thing, right?). Perhaps orange was David's favorite color.
But get this — Fashionista did a little more digging and discovered that Beckham's dress wasn't bought simply for date night with David. It was also worn in some of the promo images for "Spice World." I love when celebs recycle outfits, but this particular piece wins over all of them. Not only was it used to win over one of the most handsome husbands ever, it was also used to promote one of the best movies of all time!
I hope Victoria Beckham keeps this dress in a special place. Or at least donates it to a fashion museum. It deserves to be on display!
