Brandi Glanville Won't Apologize For This Comment

by Emma Goddard

Brandi Glanville is no newcomer to controversy — she is a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star after all. However, you’ll probably be surprised when you learn that the most recent catty comment she made wasn’t about another housewife...but about her own son. The crazy thing? After Brandi Glanville received criticism for calling her son an “a**hole” and a “d**k” on a segment of Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, she wanted to let everyone know she she’s not sorry.

Oh, and by the way: her son is seven years old. She is literally saying that she sees nothing wrong with calling her seven-year-old son an "a**hole."

I know, you probably thought she was going to apologize on Twitter, right? Instead, the reality celeb took to Twitter (as she usually does) to further clarify why she doesn’t think there was anything wrong with her statement. Ick.

“I joke about my kids &dogs being a—holes sometimes cuz honestly they can be but I love them more then life!!people that know me know that!,” Glanville tweeted. “OMG I Jokingly refer 2my kids&dogs as lil a—holes sometimes cuz they can be. My mom called us her lil- sh-its-stop taking things so seriously.”

I don’t have kids myself, and I can only imagine how hard it is to raise them — I’m sure I was a little devil at times, even. However, the fact that Glanville thinks it’s okay to call her children derogatory names is definitely a problem. That’s like saying it’s okay to call your daughter a b**** (which it’s absolutely not): she’s basically promoting the use of profane names for children. No matter how difficult they are to handle sometimes, children (or really people of all ages) should never have to deal with comments like this, especially from their own mother.
