Will This Guarantee Lindsay Lohan's Health?

by Kate Ward

This time around, the legal system is making sure that Lindsay Lohan stays sober. The actress, who recently wrapped up a three-month rehab stint with a photograph that made her look healthier than ever, has been ordered to undergo therapy to keep her away from "failure."

A California Superior Court judge ruled the actress must see a therapist three times a week for 18 months, and "if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a setup for almost certain failure," wrote Superior Court Judge James R. Dabney in a letter.

Indeed, Lohan will be surrounded by some negative influences after leaving rehab, regardless of her reported "toxic friends" list. After all, the actress is set to return to work in Hollywood. First, when not fielding reviews for her film with porn star James Deen, The Canyons, Lohan will appear as a guest host on Chelsea Handler's Chelsea Lately Aug. 5. But the court is making sure Lohan receives help no matter where she is, allowing her to teleconference with therapists if abroad.

The court order stems from an incident in June 2012, when Lohan lied to the police on the scene of an accident. And those of you who haven't read details about it will likely hear all about it when Lohan appears on Oprah Winfrey's OWN to discuss her troubles and unveil a new documentary series about her life.
