You'll Love His Corny Joke, This We Promise You

by Kristie Rohwedder

We may not know the exact date Lance Bass and fiancé Michael Turchin plan on tying the knot, but we do know that they are a freakin' cute couple. I mean, just look at those two! Wednesday night, Bass attended the Barefoot Wine Pride Kick Off Celebration in New York City, and he told PEOPLE Magazine he and Turchin “could not be happier.” AWWWW. Bass also dished about their TBD nuptials and whether or not an 'N Sync wedding reunion is in the tea leaves.

Yes, all of those details are fantastic and I will continue to eat them up with a spoon, BUT THEN! The chat with PEOPLE Magazine hit me like a ton of bricks. Just... just read it:

That's one reason I fell in love with Michael. One of the first conversations we had after we were together for a bit was the 'family conversation,' and we were so – I hate to use this word – in sync with each other. We do want to enjoy our first couple years of marriage first, but I definitely want kids before I'm 40.

Did you find the pearl? The gem? The ruby/diamond hybrid?

He was reluctant to say it, but he said it: "We were so ... in sync with each other."

OH MY GOD. I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING. IT'S SO SIMPLE BUT SO GOOD. DON'T YOU DARE GROAN AT IT. DRINK IT IN. BASK IN THE GLORY.

He can't actually hate it, can he? I mean, I get why he'd play it cool. It's corny as hell, but that's what makes it so perfect. He must love it. HE MUST.

If I was in 'N Sync, I'd make it my life's mission to say "in sync" every chance I got. (Oo! And whenever I'd get heartburn, I'd say "That deep-fried pizza/burrito/second plate of cheese curds is tearing up my heart." And I'd DEFINITELY say "Yes, yes, yes, here we go!" every time I started my car.) Gotta seize any and every corny joke opportunity, ya know?

What do I say to anyone who doesn't think that sort of thing is funny? Oh, you KNOW. You totally know:
