Coolest. Whales. EVER.

I grew up in New England, so you’d think that I would have gone on at least one whale watch over the course of my Boston-based years, right? Well, you would be wrong. I’ve heard that it’s usually pretty rare to spot a whale during a whale watch, so maybe it’s all for the best — but believe you me, if I had known that there existed the possibility that I could see eighty bajillion whales at the same time, I would have been on a boat in a jiffy.

And that’s exactly what happens in a video shot off the coast of Provincetown, MA currently making the rounds. Shot by Julie Rossman, the video features not one, not two, but a whopping 20 whales coming up to the surface of the water during what’s probably the most eventful whale watch ever to be attended by the general public. Mind blowing? Just a little bit. Yes, all the screaming is a little irritating — but hey, you would probably have screamed that loudly too if you’d just witnessed such a remarkable feat of nature.

Fox News spoke to Rossman over the phone recently about what it was like seeing all those whales at one. “We were looking at these little bubbles that were sort of forming, and they were telling us that when those bubbles form, you know that a whale is probably going to come up," she said. "So, when I saw the bubbles, I thought, ‘Wow, that’s a lot of bubbles forming’”… And the rest, as they say, is history.

Here, give it a watch for yourself. It’s astonishing. Isn’t nature awesome?
