Kim Kardashian & Katie Couric Exist In Same Space

In the centuries to come, anthropologists will likely marvel at the sheer frequency at which we declare that celebrity feuds have occurred. Granted, they can be fun. Just look at the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Katie Couric, which hardly ever exists unless it's a situation of tension and/or girls night out funtimes. Apparently recently it's been the latter, if the photo they posed together for Friday is any indication.

Kardashian and Couric made joint headlines together when Couric wondered aloud the eternal qustion of the 21st Century: "Why are [the Kardashians] so famous?" Karashian took chagrin, and took the opportunity to "call out" Couric for the baby gift she'd sent Kardashian around that time — a move Kardashian apparently found hypocritical given the perceived diss. Her response included an Instagram with the hashtags "#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit."

Couric publicly apologized in a statement to E! News, saying "I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family. I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye."

Now, a year later, Kardashian and Couric were seen hanging together — alongside Kardashian Mama Rose Kris Jenner, Shelli Azoff (who does not appear to be famous so more power to her), and the eternal Christie Brinkley. This would seem to indicate that these are two grown-ass women who can b in the same room with someone they had a disagreement with without dissolving into that Mean Girls wild animal scene.
