Scooter Got Married & Of Course Bieber Performed

by Lia Beck

Great news for Justin Bieber fans! Well, I think... Beliebers get excited about anything Bieber-related, right? Anyway, Scooter Braun got married to his fiancee Yael Cohen over Fourth of July weekend. I was skeptical when I first found out that someone named Scooter was not only an adult but someone old enough to get married, but here we are. Congrats, you two! Of course, the most pressing question when it comes to Scooter Braun's wedding is: Were any of the people he managers there? And the natural follow-up questions: Did Psy lead everyone in a group dance to "Gangnam Style?" Did Carly Rae Jepsen sing "Call Me Maybe?" Did Justin Bieber take his shirt off because he doesn't know how else to express joy?

Well, the answer to one of those is a resounding "yes!" and somehow it's not the shirtless Bieber one. (Way to keep that shirt on, Biebz.) Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber sang "Call Me Maybe" together. And she jumped around giddily. And he wore an all black suit, a fedora, and sunglasses indoors. And neither of them seemed to know the words or sing on-key. This is exactly what should happen at a Scooter Braun wedding.

Not only that, Bieber sang The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love" during the ceremony. It was just like in Love Actually except that instead of Cohen getting an elaborately planned surprise from her husband's best friend who is secretly in love with her, she got probably-not-a-surprise Bieber who, if she's like most people, may have had qualms with participating in the wedding at all. I mean, who wants someone to leave your ceremony going, "Well, the dress was gorgeous, but I have to text everyone I know right now about the fact that Justin Bieber performed. What was that?"

In videos of the performances, everyone looks happy, so it seems that celebrity distractions were hardly an issue. In fact, Jepsen and Bieber weren't the only celebs in attendance. TMZ reports that Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Ed Sheeran, and Sophia Bush were also there to celebrate. Bush even shared a photo of the happy couple dancing on Instagram.

Here are Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber's performances aka the wedding singers you'll never have. Prepare to be thankful. (Or jealous. Whatever.)

And Bush's lovely picture of Braun and Cohen:

Congrats, y'all!
