There is literally no better news to end the day with than news that involves Sean Hayes in a new sitcom — except if that news was more Will & Grace. It's not, though, so this will have to do: According to The Wrap, Sean Hayes has joined the cast of The Millers on CBS as a series regular, and will star alongside leads Will Arnett and Margo Martindale. Yay!

Though he's no Jack McFarland (sadly), Hayes' character does sound interesting as well: He'll play Kip Withers, who is Carol Miller's new BFF and "a new source of friction" for Nathan (Arnett). Does this mean what I think it means? Which is, to say — Hayes/Arnett stand-off?! If this show plays it right, this could be comedic gold. And, it'd be like a mini Up All Night reunion! I know I can't be the only one who liked that show.

It's great to hear that Hayes finally has a new role, after his comedy, Sean Saves the World was canceled by NBC at the beginning of this year after just one season. He's consistently been the best part of many shows (*cough*Smash*cough*), and The Millers has already proven itself to be a hit.

No word on when Hayes's first episode will be, but The Millers will return for season two on Oct. 30.
