When Are They Getting Married?

by Georgette Eva

Now that Jersey Shore alum Jenni “JWoww” Farley can turn the “Woww” in her name upside down to make “JMomm,” the world is left wondering about the next big milestone in her life: when she and fiancé Roger Mathews will tie the knot. JWoww and Mathews welcomed their baby girl, Meilani Alexandra Mathews, to the world on Sunday but, as any fan of their show can tell you, marriage has been on their minds much longer than nine months. Obviously, this couple isn’t one to shy away from being open about their personal lives. In addition to Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWoww, Roger and Jenni recently chose to do couple’s counseling TV-star style via reality show Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars, so we're expecting a special ceremony worthy of reality TV.

JWoww and Mathews have been engaged since September 2012. Now, with the birth of their baby girl, their wedding could be right around the corner and could very well be on a surprise date. They’ve described themselves as a very "nontraditional couple" and, according to Mathews, "We always say, if we wake up one day and we roll over and look at each other and we're like, 'Let's go to Vegas and do it today,' we'll do it."

Yet, JWoww has also said that her post-baby and pre-wedding plans include getting tan and getting skinny, so maybe the wedding won't be as impromptu as believed. It's really anyone's guess as to when the two will make it official, but maybe a look at a few fellow reality couples’ timelines will give us a better idea of when to look out for a Save the Date in our fantasy mailboxes.

The Laverne to JWoww's Shirley, best friend Snooki and her fiancé are still engaged, and after giving birth to their son, the couple’s projected nuptial dates for their Great Gatsby soirée is October. JWoww would definitely want to wait until after Snooki’s had her moment, especially if the new mom has to plan a bachelorette bash worthy of the Shore.

Say what you will about finding love on a reality show, because even with their one-season engagement, Trista and Ryan Sutter are one of the only couples to come out of The Bachelorette franchise married. Trista and JWoww met while filming Marriage Bootcamp , and the original Bachelorette told Hollywood Life that she’s still in touch with JWoww and her man. Maybe they’re picking up some tips on planning a quickie reality TV wedding?

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt, Engaged One Year & Six Months

JWoww's MTV reality TV show cousins, Heidi and Spencer from The Hills are, indeed, still married, showing up Lauren Conrad and proving that the couple who fakes a divorce to get a reality TV deal together, stays together. Will we have to wait another year and six months until JWoww goes down the aisle?

Matt Hoover & Suzy Preston, Engaged 6 Months

The Biggest Loser contestants Matt and Suzy met while competing on the show, and true to the reality-star lifestyle, Matt popped the question live on the Today show six months before a destination wedding in Jamaica. They're still happily married with a growing family. Maybe six months from giving birth, JWoww and Mathews could be planning a beach wedding of their own.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West, Engaged Seven Months

Kimye’s timeline is difficult to peg because, frankly, I can’t remember a world before their engagement and news of their wedding. JWoww could take a page out of the queen of butt selfies' book and plan a lavish destination wedding seven months from now. Just enough time for the new mom to get her tan and to teach her baby girl how to fist pump with the rest of them.

JWoww and Roger will likely forge their own reality TV-marriage path, but as long as they air it on television as a Snooki & JWoww special event, we're all good.
