Adele Is Still Younger Than Everyone

This British singer is releasing new material for us to sing (and sob) along to — and she might be coming to a city near you, too. According to a tweet sent out by World Music Awards, Adele is returning to music in the best possible way. According to the tweet, the "Someone Like You" singer will release her album 25 prior to hitting the road for what will surely be an epic world tour. "Rumor has it" that 25 will break the records previously set by her album 21, which gained diamond status (that's over 10,000,000 albums!) in only 92 weeks, the third fastest selling diamond album ever. The success of 21 allowed Adele to maintain her songstress credibility while tending to other parts of her life, namely her son, Angelo, who was born in 2012.

Now, Adele is back where her fans want her — in the recording studio and on tour. It's hard to believe that this insanely talented lady has had so much success at the young age of 26. Adele's talent would stand out no matter how old she was, but it's particularly impressive that this young singer had so much success early on. After all, her first album, 19, was written and recorded before she could legally drink in America. Even more impressive is the subject material on Adele's albums. There's something very universal about her songs — Adele's material speaks to anyone of any age.

It's amazing to think about, but Adele is actually younger than these other celebrities. Here are today's modern musicians who are, surprisingly, older than Adele.
