Get Allison Williams's Look in 3 Steps

by Tyler Atwood

Things are coming up roses for Allison Williams, and not just due to her recurring role on hit television series Girls. The actress now has a sparkling ring on that particular finger thanks to a handsome fellow by the name of Ricky Van Veen, and just in time for her nuptials, Williams is finally stepping outside the box in terms of her sartorial choices. The brunette has a grin genuine enough to distract viewers from the somewhat bland nature of some of her previous ensembles, but when she selects one which is both on-trend and elegant, she simply outshines anyone else in the room.

That being said, the future Ms. Even selected a daring cut-out Altuzarra dress for the premiere of Wish I Was Here in New York, and the choice couldn't be more perfect — both for Williams and for anyone who has an audience to impress this summer. Thankfully, the look is simple to capture; simply pair a cut-out sleeveless sheath dress with pointy toe pumps, voluminous, side-swept locks, and an ingratiating smile, and you're set for whatever fabulous occasion merits such an urbane ensemble. However, you may have to consult Elle Woods for an ensemble to procure your own engagement ring from that special someone.
