3 Simple Steps to Steal Her Gucci Campaign Look

by Samantha Matthews

Blake Lively's latest Gucci fragrance campaign is elegant, embodies old school Hollywood glamour, and gives off the perfect amount of sexiness. Lively returned to her role as Gucci ambassadress for the new fragrance, Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, and I'm so happy that she did. The photos were taken by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and the finished product is sensational. It certainly convinced me to go out and buy the fragrance, so well done everyone.

Lively is quite the busy bee between her role as an ambassadress to Gucci, her Hollywood acting career, and launching her own lifestyle site this month, it's hard to believe she has a minute to breathe or the time to be an amazing fashion icon. But she does, and is continuously perpetuating my girl crush on Lively that's persisted since her Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants days.

So with this new fragrance campaign as inspiration, here are three simple steps to follow in order to attain Lively's look for a glamorous night out. Of course, stealing her hairstyle is one of the steps and she was the first to admit her hair is her safety net. Unfortunately, this guide does not include how to snag a husband as hunky as Ryan Reynolds. Hope you're not too disappointed in me.

1. A One Shoulder Dress

Although this Torn by Ronny Kobo dress isn't the same type of print as Lively's, the bodice is structured the same with the strapless look and then one shoulder strap attached. A black cocktail dress is always elegant, and you can add a pair of neon stilettos for an extra fashion-y punch.

2. A Side Part and Old Hollywood Curls

This Amika four piece interchangeable barrel curler set allows you to pick the perfect size for your curls, depending on the vibe you're striving for that night. For Lively's look I would use the biggest barrel to achieve those large curls. Don't forget a nice dose of flexible hairspray to keep your curls in tact all night without any stiffness.

3. A Statement Ring

If you can't afford to drop thousands of dollars on a cocktail ring, then this Crystal Cage Ring from Baublebar is for you. Wear it on your middle finger to copy Lively!
