A 'Hills' Reunion Movie?

Fans of The Hills, or Laguna Beach or The City or MTV reality shows in general, rejoice: there could be potentially great news. Hills and Laguna star Lauren Conrad said she's open to a reunion movie. Many of the shows other stars had already shown an interest in a reunion, including Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, and Stephanie Pratt. The only surprising one there is Cavallari, who's married football player Jay Cutler and had a baby since the show ended. The others really haven't been up to much, with Pratt completely forgotten, Patridge's own show failing, and Jenner so desperate for attention he forced himself into the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Of course, we haven't heard anything from the infamous Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag recently, and without them, there would be no Hills.

But what would this hypothetical reunion movie even be? Ever since the infamous final scene of the series, when Cavallari drove away and the Hollywood set and crew around her were revealed, the Hills stars have been pretty open about the show being more staged than real. MTV is even airing the alternate finale tomorrow, something that wouldn't exist if The Hills was actually a reality show.

So, all this open talk about how fake the show was leads us to believe that this reunion movie would be a literal movie, with a full script, set and everything. Whoa. What could it even be about? Would Cavallari still be married to Cutler or would her role call for a single Kristin to once again battle LC over a guy? Will Audrina be able to do more than stare blankly if she's been given lines to read? So many questions and possibilities. Maybe it'll go Arrested Development-style, and flashback to show us what all of the characters have been doing for the past three years.

Now we're intrigued. Please make this happen MTV. You've got your stars on board, now just do what you do best: manufacture some drama.
