Guys, George R.R. Martin Is Not A Weenies Fan

by Casey Rackham

Welp. It turns out that George R.R. Martin isn't a weenies man. Responding to the 2013 trilogy of episodes of South Park where Game of Thrones was parodied, the author told Clevver News at Comic-Con that the raunchy animated series got it wrong: he loves boobies, not weenies. (Yes, "boobies" and "weenies" were actual words that came out of his mouth.)

Although Martin revealed that he hasn't actually seen the spoofs — the three episodes titled "Black Friday," "A Song of Ass and Fire," and "Titties and Dragons," were filled with GoT-inspired jokes such as a delightful "weiner" remake of the opening song — the author did have a bone to pick with South Park.

I do have to say, I've been told that my character on South Park is obsessed about weenies. I have to deny this as a scurrilous rumor. I have nothing against weenies, weenies are fine. But I am not obsessed with weenies. I am definitely on the boobies side of the equation. They picked the wrong equation for me: boobies, not weenies.

Ya hear that, ya scoundrels? Martin is a boobies man, and he wants the world to know it. He's not about those Seven Kingdom weenies. (Who else is hoping that GoT will substitute the opening song with Martin's own "boobies" rendition of the tune a la South Park?).
