Caught Partying? Already?

Fresh out of a 90-day rehab program, Lindsay Lohan seemed to be on the upswing — she received decent reviews for her role in The Canyons and did a great job hosting Chelsea Lately . So great a job, in fact, that we all hugged our pillows at night and whispered to them, this could be the Lindsay Lohan comeback we've been waiting for, pillow! But, no, it isn't. Page Six is reporting that Lindsay Lohan was caught partying all night at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood with that kid Max George from British boy band The Wanted, and her younger sister Ali, who, for the record, is 19.

The source says:

There were so many complaints about the noise that hotel staff had to shut the party down and Lindsay had to be taken out of there by security at 7 a.m. She was with her sister, and people who saw Lindsay when she left the hotel said she looked a total mess. She looked so beat up.

Nooooo. Lindsay! Whyyyyy.

A rep for the actress says that other than the fact that she was at the hotel and hanging out with her "good friend" Max (the two used to date), everything else is completely false. Lindsay's team says she was in bed by midnight and didn't drink at all.

Two sides of the story, here: which to believe? On the one hand, this "source" could just be some jerk looking to slander our LiLo (my eye's you, Michael Lohan), but on the other, it's Lindsay. Of course this could be true.

The most depressing part of the story, though, is the fact that no one mentioned they saw Oprah's camera crews following Lindsay around, because this hotel-galavanting, hanging-out-with-Max-and-Ali type thing is exactly the kind of stuff we want to see on Lindsay's 8 episode documentary series. Well that, and Linds having a come-to-Jesus moment with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in Oprah's living room.
