'Night At the Museum 3' Looks Surprisingly Fun

The only reason I can think of as to why this film was made — why Ben Stiller even agreed to it, at that! — is that Hollywood is, above all things, a business, and for some reason these Night at the Museum movies continue to make money based off of the same premise every time. So, you asked for it by actually going to see the movies in theaters: A third Night at the Museum movie is on its way. And, though it's not set to be released for a few months, the first trailer for Night At the Museum: Secret of the Tomb has hit the web.

If you liked the first two films, you'll probably like this one because it seems like it's basically the same thing — except most of it takes place in London, and the plot seems to focus on the magic of the museum "running out," threatening the lives (?) of the exhibits that come alive to hang out with Ben Stiller when the museum closes. Robin Williams stars as well, as does Ricky Gervais, Rebel Wilson and Owen Wilson.

All sarcasm aside, I will concede that this trailer isn't that bad — it's funny, even, in that innocent kind of way. Also, London automatically gives everything cool points, so I'll give Secret of the Tomb that.

You can check out the trailer below. Night At the Museum: Secret of the Tomb will hit theaters on December 17.
