Everybody's doing it...

Forget short hemlines; now, the story is in short haircuts. Here are 9 stars who made the chop, and are maximizing their minimal hair.

Coco Rocha

Coco Rocha is only the most recent star to give up her great lengths. The supermodel documented her long-to-pixie transformation willingly and cheerfully, a task that may have given the rest of us the shivers. Rocha's spunky attitude, versatile menagerie of facial expressions, and fiery red mane all make this look easy for the model to pull off. And that's why Rocha's doing it right. In the words of fellow supermodel Karlie Kloss, "#shorthairdontcare"

Karlie Kloss

When your hairstyle is innovated for you, and then named after you, you know you're on the right path. Karlie Kloss had her locks lopped off for Vogue last year, and the style has since been dubbed "The Karlie." Stylists the world over have been copying it since.

Jennifer Lawrence

Since we're on the topic of Vogue, the next great cut comes from actress Jennifer Lawrence, who debuted a shorter 'do at Cannes in May. The pretty and chic style glows on the cover of September's Vogue and in the accompanying editorial. We are big fans of the actress, and loved her with long hair... but love her with a shorter, more stylish cut even more.

Charlize Theron

We are forever in awe of Charlize Theron. The statuesque beauty pulls off super short hair as well as Halle Berry... and that's a tough act to follow.

Anne Hathaway

From long, brown hair that was pretty enough, to a role in Les Miserables where Anne Hathaway found it in her to actually receive a traumatic haircut, the Oscar winner is the dictionary example of turning lemons into lemonade. Styling the remains of her hair into a chic, chic, chic pixie, and dyeing it super-blonde, she's the inspiration for major change-ups everywhere.

Michelle Williams

The actress Michelle Williams, (not to be confused with the third and oft forgotten member of Destiny's Child) has the perfect heart-shaped face to pull-off a pixie. Also, eye makeup.

Beyoncé

I mean, you saw this, right? Queen Bey can do no wrong. The diva chopped her lengths for a pixie that screams "grown woman."

Rihanna

The weaves, wigs, and wild styles are great. We love Rihanna for testing the limits and trying new things. When she took it all off, and bared her natural, short hair, we loved her even more. She's a natural beauty.

Emma Watson

When Emma Watson cut her lengthy mane — the one that linked her distinctly to her character in Harry Potter, the actress sent a visual declaration that she could do more than just Hermione. Since the pixie, she's let it grow out a bit, and all we can say is, could she be any chicer?!
