"Best Mistake" Isn't Helping Those Dating Rumors

by Kadeen Griffiths

Ariana Grande's second album, My Everything, comes out on August 25, but in the meantime Grande has been whetting our appetites for it by releasing hit singles like "Problem", "Break Free", and "Best Mistake". This is all being done amidst the rumors that Grande and rapper Big Sean are dating and, to be honest, they're not really trying hard to dispel that rumor. Don't get me wrong. "Best Mistake" by Grande and Big Sean is probably my new favorite song from Grande's upcoming album, but it's got a completely different tone than their last collaboration, "Right There".

The real difference between the two songs is that "Best Mistake" is slow and sultry from the start, with Grande's singing blending seamlessly with Big Sean's rapping. This perfect harmony not only makes for a great song, but it also shows off the fantastic chemistry that the two of them have together. If you can pull that kind of thing off with nothing but your voices, then just take a moment to imagine what they must be like in real life. The rumors might be true or false, but songs like "Best Mistake" make you wish that they were true just so we could see more of this sizzling match-up.

"They have been friends since they made the song together," said an E! Online source who claims that Grande and Big Sean are actually a couple. "They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close. They are both doing great." After listening to "Best Mistake", don't worry if you find yourself agreeing that Grande and Big Sean need to hook up and become the power couple that we all know they could be as soon as possible. It's one of Grande's best love songs so far.
