This Might be Your Most Important Marvel Decision

Ever since SHIELD collapsed in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Marvel movie fans have been left with a choice. Do we hope for SHIELD's quick recovery, or do we embrace the chaos HYDRA has created? Although the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finale made it seem like SHIELD might rise again in Season 2, we can't be sure that Coulson can manage to revive the dead agency without Nick Fury's expert guidance. So perhaps fans should embrace the inevitable and root for HYDRA until the Avengers 2 or Captain America 3 comes to squash their ever-multiplying heads.

Whatever side you're on, though, the Marvel-made HYDRA vs. SHIELD rivalry could end well for your side. On Monday, Marvel created a site for fans to voice their allegiances, and enter to win tickets to the Avengers 2 premiere. This may seem like a plot reveal for the film, which might have to take on HYDRA. But it's also possible that this is a classic Marvel misdirect, and the Avengers will take on Ultron as the subtitle of the film suggests. Whatever the outcome, Marvel's encouragement of fan rivalry is something I'd love to see in the future. I'll be first to vote in a Drax vs. Gamora battle, although we all know Baby Groot would win.
