Kate Hudson Takes On The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Spitfire Kate Hudson wasn't about to back down from a challenge, especially one put upon her by her Wish I Was Here co-star, Zach Braff. Unfortunately for Hudson though, there were a whole lot of people just itching to get their hands on an icy bucket. As you can imagine, she wasn't about to get out of this one easily. Or dryly, for that matter. Kate Hudson took on the ice bucket challenge over the weekend.

I suppose it's fitting that the actress got drenched multiple times in honor of her multiple nominations from the likes of Derek Hough, Zach Braff, and Erin Foster. But that doesn't mean it looked any less freezing, or horribly uncomfortable. As Just Jared points out, some of the culprits behind the bucket dumping are Hudson's own children, Ryder and Bingham. With similarly heartwarming giggling fits to the ones produced by the Affleck children in Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's video, this ice bucket challenge is high on my radar as possible favorites. And, Kate's own enjoyment and laughter, is also what makes this challenge particularly great.

As if the cute mother-sons moment wasn't enough to clutch best celeb challenge yet, Hudson went on to nominate her mother, Goldie Hawn, in addition to How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days co-star, Matthew McConaughey, and her fiance's band, MUSE. Quite the differential between nominees, but that doesn't make it any less enticing. Your turns now, Hawn, McConaughey, and MUSE!
