Wait, Did He Just Make an Actual Good Point?

Is it suddenly feeling chilly to you? I'm getting a little nippy despite the warm weather, and I think it's because hell may have just froze over. You guys: Justin Bieber might have just made a valid, hard-to-argue-with point on Twitter. I know. I'm shocked, too. The details of what Bieber is talking about exactly remain scant, but he insinuated that his life was just put in danger by the paparazzi, Princess Diana-style. Not cool, paparazzi, not cool at all. Even if we are dealing with Bieber.

A few days after Bieber was linked to some sort of kerfuffle involving a cell phone and a random fan at a Dave and Buster's with Selena Gomez, Bieber tweeted that he was, more or less, in fear of his life, because of something a pesky paparazzi did. Again, Bieber didn't give any details on what went down, but he did reference Princess Di. And if you're going to reference Princess Di, you best be serious. In one tweet, he wrote, "...I don't have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger;" and in another he wrote, "There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana..."

Yikes. Immediately, my brain goes to a scenario in which Bieber was chased in a car by the paps, which is wrong on so many levels. Yes, we all enjoy seeing and hearing about celebrities (you're reading this article, aren't you?), but there needs to be a line. It should be illegal to put someone's — anyone's — life in danger for the sake of a shot, no matter how juicy it is.

The silver lining to this madness, though? Bieber actually made a good point for once in his life. He may be the worst every other day, but mark your calendars, folks: On August 26, he actually made some sense.
