Do You Recognize This Blonde Bombshell?

by Samantha Matthews

Pamela Anderson is a household name for many reasons. From her role as a beautiful, blonde lifeguard in Baywatch to her skimpy, bombshell fashion choices, and career as a Playboy covergirl, it seems that everyone knows her name. Now she's causing a media stir for her brand new look. Pamela Anderson posed in 'No Tofu,' a Palm Beach-based quarterly print magazine, looking totally retro and totally chic.

According to Fashionista, this isn't Anderson's only recent foray into the world of high fashion: She also posed for CR Fashion Book's fifth issue sans pants, but in an army green coat that covers her up. This is the same glossy where North West made her modeling debut and Conchita Wurst and Ashleigh Good posed together as the "new normal" in fashion.

Although seeing Anderson as a high fashion model may be more than a little surprising, this isn't her first time trying the whole editorial model thing. According to the Daily Mail, in 2009 Vivienne Westwood chose Anderson as her spring/summer campaign front woman as well as fashion muse. Even though this was a step in the high fashion direction, the looks she modeled were still reminiscent of her signature skimpy style choices.

But her latest images include a totally new and different look that the beauty has never really donned to date. Hair bows, pencil skirts, and peter pan collars are all featured (yes I'm talking about Anderson's photos, not a prep school uniform). The images are surprising and absolutely stunning. Anderson finally succeeded at the high fashion model look. Now only time will tell whether or not this will be the star's new normal.
