Getting Plastic Surgery To Look Like Kim K. Great.

Well, this is weird and sad. Myla Sinanaj, a model and former girlfriend of Kris Humphries, has told TMZ that she's getting plastic surgery so she can look more like Kris Humphries' former wife, KIm Kardashian.

Sinanaj is already a Kim K lookalike, enough that she recently appeared in a sex tape entitled Myla Sinanaj: The Anti-KimXXX. But apparently, she heard some criticism about her body following that tape, which has made her want to get approximately $30,000 worth of surgery so she can look even more like Kim. She says:

"I’m obsessed with her body and want mine to be exactly the same...I know it will launch my career."

While TMZ's inclusion of a clip from Single White Female in their post about her implies that Sinanaj is crazy or dangerous, I think the fact that this woman is making a public announcement about her plans to get surgery to make her body look exactly like another woman's body is immeasurably sad, especially considering Kim's body, both pre-, post- and during pregnancy has basically become public property, fodder for the masses.

Of course, Myla Sinanaj is welcome to do whatever she'd like with her body; it's her body. And there's nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery to help you feel better about yourself, although $30,000 is, admittedly, a bit extreme. Still, I can't help but think that the self-worth and success Sinanaj is looking for is not going to come with having curves like Kim Kardashian, no matter how good her plastic surgeon might be.
