These Chanel Headphones Will Cost You

by Shorey Andrews

Not one to EVER be out done, Karl Lagerfield brought more of that Chanel magic during the fall 2014 runway, and the crème de la crème is undoubtedly the newly presented leather Chanel headphones. After signing onto a partnership with tech company Monster, Chanel was able to put together these luxurious headphones that are bound to make even the most skeptical fashionista drool. The only set back for this sleek design? The price, obviously. It is Chanel, after all. Unless you are ready to hand-over $5,000 in hard earned cash, these little babies won't be making any music to your ears.

The Chanel headphones made their first appearance earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week, but it was uncertain at that point if the headphones were a visual aid, or if they would actually hit the shelves for purchase. As it turns out, they will indeed be available to own along with all the other fall fashion goodness from the luxury brand later this September.

The buzz surrounding Chanel's fall line first began when the brand turned their runway into a supermarket, highlighting Chanel canned food among other quirky props. This clever visual had designer fans thrown into a frenzy with its fresh and innovative take on everyday life. The looks on the runway translated the same idea with the prospect of elevating your Sunday morning attire by adding a gorgeous statement jacket — but still playing it causal underneath.

Leave it to Lagerfield to make Chanel turn that "crazy cat lady" look into "sunday shopping chic".
