What Has She Been Up To This NYFW?

Fashion Week is organized chaos at its best. I know from personal experience how grueling the nearly 24 hour a day schedule is for attendees. Do not believe the glossy mags: It is in no way as snazzy for media as they would want you to believe. Models take the brunt of it, working nonstop from the first day of shows in New York to the last walk in Paris.

A month of crack of dawn call times, getting your hair and makeup done five times in one day, marching around in ridiculously high stilettos, and temperamental designers would make a normal person lose their mind, but these girls do it at least twice a year — and look flawless. In return, they have a jet setter lifestyle, millions in the bank by age 35, famous friends, and an amazing wardrobe. Not too shabby.

We mere mortals get a peek at the good, the bad, and the ugly of Fashion Month via top model Instagram accounts. Granted, no one’s Instagram is a 100 percent accurate representation of their real lives, but for these women I really do think this is their daily grind with a truly glamorous payoff.
