Fans rejoiced at the news that dearly departed NBC series Community would be receiving a much-deserved resurrection over at Yahoo! ahead of its sixth season (and a movie), but this rumor briefly killed a good chunk of that excitement for a short time today: Some reports floating around claimed that Alison Brie may not return for season 6 of the comedy, likely due to scheduling issues since her career is taking off thanks to her general awesomeness. Don't fret, though — the rumors aren't true! Yahoo! has confirmed that Alison Brie will be back for Community season 6, along with the rest of the cast including Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Ken Jeong.

Community already sadly lost Donald Glover to the music industry, and, though season 5 of the series was great, the show was never quite able to fill the Troy-sized hole left in the study group next to Abed. Without Alison Brie and her character, Annie, we'd lose a lot of what makes the show so special, not to mention the compelling Britta/Jeff/Annie romantic triangle. The study group needs Annie — we need Annie.
