As J Brand plans to put down roots in Los Angeles and New York, we got to thinking of what other designer brick-and-mortar stores at which we'd be clamoring to shop. Here's hoping they're in the works!

As J Brand plans to put down roots in Los Angeles and New York, we got to thinking of what other designer brick-and-mortar stores at which we'd be clamoring to shop. Here's hoping they're in the works!

Piamita

Have you ever fumbled through your closet right before guests arrive for dinner, cocktails, or movie night, looking for the perfectly easygoing thing to wear as hostess? W editor Karla Martinez and Cecilia de Sola had gorgeous, street-appropriate loungewear in mind when creating Piamita. Skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, shorts, tanks, and flowing blouses cut from richly hued and patterned silks make up the collection.

MSGM

Bold colors, simple neutrals, quirky patterns and pretty prints: it's all here with MSGM. There's a monkey print from early summer that I still, and will, regret missing out on for summers to come.

Aquazzura

With heels so comfortable supposedly male models didn't mind wearing them, it sure would be fun to spend an afternoon trying on for size the stable of sexy styles at Aquazzura.

Frame Denim

Another denim brand that has quickly turned into a go-to for beautifully fitting jeans: Frame Denim. You know that elusive black jean, with the perfectly black wash, in just the right thickness? This is it. Even super Karlie Kloss has gotten in on the action, designing a pair for leggy ladies like herself.

The Row

Mary Kate and Ashley Olson's high, high end line The Row offers gorgeous, timeless bags, perfectly cut separates, and rich outerwear in sumptuous materials. This is the kind of quality you have to feel to appreciate, which is why we'd like a store to try everything on in.
