13 Celebrity Couples Who Survived Cheating Scandals

When a Hollywood cheating scandal breaks, most people expect a major celebrity breakup to follow. However, as these couples prove, that's not always the case. These 13 celebrities couples were faced with either cheating rumors or flat-out infidelity, but chose to work through their relationship issues rather than break up. Check out this list of people who didn't call it quits after someone allegedly strayed.

David & Victoria Beckham

The soccer star and the former Posh Spice have been married since 1999, but not without some scandal. Rumor has it that David Beckham cheated on his wife with not one, not two, but three separate women, including his personal assistant Rebecca Loos who made a celebrity of herself by announcing their alleged affair to the world.

Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick

Parker has always been luckier in love than her onscreen alter ego Carrie Bradshaw, but things weren’t always smooth sailing between her and hubby Broderick. In 2008, Broderick was accused of cheating on Parker with a younger woman while Parker was off filming the big screen sequel to Sex and the City. If the rumors are true, they didn’t break up SJP’s marriage — the couple is still together and welcomed twins via surrogate just one year later.

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban

The Australian couple has been married since 2008, but their own cheating scandal happened just months after they tied the knot. According to part-time model Amanda Wyatt, Urban cheated on his wife Kidman repeatedly with her shortly after he and Kidman wed. Wyatt claimed that she met Urban in 2004 and had an on-and-off relationship with the country star for years. If that’s true, it didn’t stop Kidman and Urban from working things out — the couple is still together.

Josh Duhamel & Fergie

Duhamel and Fergie married in 2009, and less than a year later the actor was accused of having an affair with a stripper. Though Fergie never stated the validity of the cheating rumors, she did tell Oprah Winfrey in an interview that her marriage was “stronger” because of the hard times the reports caused.

Bill & Hillary Clinton

The big one. After President Clinton admitted to cheating on his wife with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in 1998, the First Lady stood by her husband’s side — despite the President admitting his indiscretions to the world.

Jude Law & Sienna Miller

In 2005, Law did an awful (not to mention suuuuper cliche) thing and cheated on his fashion icon girlfriend with his child’s nanny. The couple reconciled in 2009, but called it quits — for good — two years later. Fortunately, no one cheated the second time around.

Matthew Fox & Margherita Ronchi

In 2010 Fox was accused of cheating on his wife — of whom he has been married to since 1991 — with stripper Stephani Talbott. It was Talbott herself who came forward to tabloid Us Weekly, stating that she had slept with the Lost alum twice before she learned he was married to Ronchi. Fox and Ronchi stayed together throughout the ordeal, and neither have confirmed or denied Talbott’s story.

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson

The Twilight stars allegedly began dating in 2008, and a cheating scandal rocked their relationship in July of 2012. Stewart was photographed kissing the married director of her film Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Saunders. Pattinson moved out of their shared home shortly afterwards, but the pair seemingly reunited in early 2013 after spending some time apart. They appeared to split for good in spring of that same year.

David Boreanaz & Jaime Bergman

The Bones star admitted to People Magazine that he cheated on his model wife, Bergman. He decided to come clean after the woman he had a fling with attempted to extort the Bones actor. Boreanaz and Bergman are still together today.

Dean McDermott & Tori Spelling

Truth be told, only time will tell whether these two can actually make it. McDermott and Spelling have been married since 2006, and recently had to deal with McDermott’s cheating in front of millions of Americans (well, those with cable access, anyway) on their reality show True Tori. In 2014 McDermott admitted to cheating on his wife while on vacation in Canada. The reality show deals with the fallout from their marriage, but whether they can last once the cameras are off is a whole other story.

Kobe & Vanessa Bryant

Basketball star Kobe was accused of cheating several times during his marriage to Vanessa, and was accused of sexual assault in 2003. (The charges were dropped when the woman refused to testify.) Since then, rumors have suggested that Kobe has cheated on his wife of 13 years several times over the years, including one affair with a producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Vanessa filed for divorce in 2011, but the pair “cancelled” their divorce in 2013.

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber

Gomez and Bieber have been on and off for years, and Bieber has been accused of cheating on his actress girlfriend more than a few times — including once with Gomez’ sometimes-friend Kendall Jenner. Though the couple did breakup (hence their on again/off again status) they did reconcile earlier this year — I guess they put all of that “other woman” stuff behind them.

David Letterman & Regina Lasko

The late night host admitted that he cheated on his wife, Lasko, in 2009. In 2013, Letterman told Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter that he and Lasko are stronger than ever, though he also admits that he will never forgive himself for his infidelity.
