The Most Outdated Looks from 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 1 Prove Seattle Grace Was Home To More than Medical Emergencies

Grey's Anatomy is back! And honestly, there's nothing more exciting than having Meredith and the gang back on TV paired with Scandal's Olivia Pope and Associates and ABC's newest Shonda Rhimes-epic How To Get Away With Murder. But while Grey's Anatomy has been around much longer than its Thursday night counterparts, it's also had a longer time to show us more fashion missteps.

Seriously, some of the outfits at Seattle Grace Hospital should be surgically removed from existence (see what I did there?). Here are some of the most outdated looks from the cast in Season 1.

Meredith's First Day Attire

Baggy khaki pants and a wrinkled white shirt. Doesn’t exactly scream “intern looking to impress.”

Angry Parents

This used to be the look for older married men on television. The longest button down shirt known to man, untucked with baggy pants. Yup, glad that has been phased out.

Burke's Head Cap

Too many flowers. If you’re going to go with a head cap with a design, try Derek’s fish-patterned cap. It’s playful and doesn’t take it self too seriously. Burke’s flower cap is trying too hard to be fun.

George: The Schlubby Years

Poor George. He was always the nicest guy who always finished last. But he didn’t need to dress like a frumptastic bro. I’m glad you did better in later seasons, George, because you look ridiculous here.

Izzie Before Her Fashion Sense Matured

Oh Izzie, just because you used to be a model in your early years doesn’t mean you have to dress like you’re still in your early years. This look is way too young. And way too cutesy.

Bailey & Derek Bond

Bailey, this look is way too fake and happy and teenage girl-looking for you. Don’t be something you’re not. You’re tough and feminine. You’re a grown-ass woman. No more baby pink corduroy jackets for you anymore. And Derek, your fashion should be as magical as your hair. In this photo, it. is. not.

Meredith's Leopard Print Moccasins

I repeat, LEOPARD PRINT MOCCASINS

Addison's First Look

If there were any white bits on this coat, I would think Addison was trying to channel Cruella De Vil. Thank goodness this trench coat is only furry on the neck and arm-holes, otherwise I’d be worried about Derek’s pet dog hanging around Addison.

The Gang In All Their Season 1 Glory

Do we all see Christina’s Matrix jacket? Just making sure. Congrats, Grey’s Anatomy gang. Your fashion here is pretty much the epitome of early 2000s style. Thank god we left that era.
