The New NARS Palette Is A Total Must

NARS is definitely on a roll lately — though, now that I'm writing that, I'm thinking, when are they not? Hot on the heels of their new lipstick collection (which is to die for — it houses just about every color you could possibly imagine, and the formula is highly pigmented, long-wearing, and pretty much perfect), they just teased followers with a cryptic snap of what appears to be the newest NARS palette on the @NARSissist Instagram account.

It's got just about everything a lady could ask for. This is not the staid neutral palette we so often see — though I love those too; I use my Naked Palette(s) in just about every beauty tutorial I write for this site (from every look from dramatic Megan Draper cut-crease cat eyes to Doctor Who -inspired date night).

Expounding on neutral shadow aside, there's a little bit for everyone in this new palette: pale ivories to dust onto your brow bone, whimsy-filled lilacs to shake up your daily look, shimmering metallics for fairy-like glamour, and rich navies to make your smoky eyes really pop. Plus, they all have beautiful, slightly tragic names like "Desdemona" and "Andromeda" to appeal to the starry-eyed romantic in us all. Take a look:

Gorgeous, right? I could kill for the rich cocoa Subra, and Cassiopeia probably makes for the best highlight ever.
