Finally Sentenced to Jail Time!

After assaulting a woman in his Bel Air mansion in 2011, and spending his whole life as a real piece of human garbage, Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis was finally sentenced to jail time today in an LA court.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Francis's sentencing comes nearly four months after he was convicted by a jury for the 2011 incident, and charged with three counts of false imprisonment, one count of assault causing great bodily injury, and one count of dissuading a witness. If you're not familiar—Francis brought three women to his home in Bel Air after a night of partying in Hollywood, and ended up assaulting one by grabbing her by the throat and hair before slamming her head into the tile floor four times. He then had them escorted out, threatened them, and told them not to call the police.

Piece of human garbage is actually an understatement when it comes to this guy.

As for his sentencing, he will be required to spend 270 days behind bars, before serving three years probation. He will also have to attend anger management courses, as well as a year of psychological counseling.

While I'm overjoyed that he's finally getting jail time, this isn't nearly enough: For instance, after the May conviction, Francis was quoted in THR slamming the jury that convicted him, saying, "I want that jury to know that each and every one of you are mentally fucking retarded and you should be euthanized because, as Darwin said, you have naturally selected yourself ... you are the weakest members of the herd. Goodbye! And if that jury wants to convict me because I didn't show up, which is the only reason why they did, then, you know, they should all be lined up and shot!" He's a psychopath, whose violent tendencies have been in and out of the news for years.

Let's just hope that he at least spends his entire sentence behind bars — with California's prison system as overcrowded as it is, it's highly possible he'll be out sooner than he should be.
