Get Used to Him as Batman

Good news for those of you who were actually excited at the prospect of Ben Affleck stepping into the role of Batman: According to Us Weekly, Ben Affleck is already confirmed to portray Batman in 2017's Justice League Part One , even before his first time donning the skintight suit in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters. So, those of you who hated the thought of Affleck as Bruce Wayne? Better get used to it.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice isn't set to hit theaters until 2016, so it seems that plans for Justice League Part One might be a little rushed since that film is slated for a 2017 release — however, filming will likely wrap up by the end of this year (additional filming is reportedly still going underway in Chicago next month), and since Batman v. Superman began initial filming at the tail-end of last year, it seems likely that production could follow a similar pattern and begin filming in late 2015.

In addition to Affleck, both Amy Adams, who portrays the badass Lois Lane, of course, and Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, will reprise their roles in the next film as well. In a press release from Warner Bros., it's specified that director Zack Snyder will return for Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two in 2019, but there's no confirmation whether or not Affleck, Cavill, and Adams will be back as well.
