'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Trailer Got Here Early

by Alanna Bennett

Bless the Internet. Regardless of whatever higher power you may or may not believe in, let us take a minute to give thanks for the fact that the masses got to see the Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer today. It was a beautiful moment, and a beautiful trailer. Is it April yet?

As you can see in that picture above, the first Age Of Ultron trailer treated us to our first live-action look at new recruits Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). It also treats us to a whole lot of looks at a whole lot of other things: A scary-ass monologue by Ultron himself (non-spoiler: He wants to destroy humanity), some inter-Avengers tension, and everybody generally being in peril. There's also a shot of some ballerinas, which hopefully means we'll be diving a little bit more into Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff's roots.

Other things about this trailer: The scenery is certainly more international than the last time around, in fitting with their filming locations. There's also a pretty haunting song, and a lot of talk of strings and what it means to be attached or unattached to them. Basically this whole thing looks pretty intense, and (in my humble opinion) pretty effing exciting.
