Emma Goes G.I. Jane in the New 'Once' Trailer

by Caroline Pate

Get ready for another season of fairytale puns and terrible CGI, because Once Upon a Time is coming back. Emma Swan is on her way to Neverland, and it is going down. She's teamed up with her mortal enemy Regina and has gone all Liam Neeson in Taken to find her son (and Regina's adopted son) Henry. So obviously, these strong ladies are bound to clash when it comes to how they'll find their son, if you couldn't tell from Emma going all "Help me get my son back, or get out of the way."

But show co-creator Adam Horowitz left whether the ladies would find Henry at all intentionally vague, telling TV Line, “There will certainly be hurdles to be cleared in order for them to rescue Henry — if they do in fact manage to rescue Henry.”

Not only does the trailer introduce this season's big conflict, but there's a couple blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearances from new characters Peter Pan and Ariel.

ABC also used the new trailer to show off Once Upon a Time's big turnout at Comic Con, where fans got to see the first 20 minutes of this season's premiere. It may not yet be the series America loves, but it looks like ABC is making the smart move of trying to get audiences to catch up on Netflix, so who knows — maybe the rest of America will soon follow those screaming Comic Con fans.

Watch out for it on September 29.
