Jessica Chastain Gets It Right In Givenchy

Jessica Chastain is one of those celebrities who's always on the verge of looking flawlessly fabulous — in other words, her fashion choices are on point, but usually end up falling short in one way or another. Case in point? Most of the major award show dresses she wore a couple years back for Zero Dark Thirty (I'm still not over that ill-fitting, seafoam green Calvin Klein she wore to the Golden Globes — so close, yet so, so far Jessica) — with the exception of the gold number to the Oscars, which was kind of perfection.

That's kind of her M.O., see? She's tantalizingly close to fashionable about 90 percent of the time, and maybe 10 percent of the time, she hits the darn ball right out of the park. Sunday night was one of those nights: She wore backless, long-sleeved Givenchy (perfect for fall, BTW), and she looked fantabulous — because if anyone can pull off a dragon-printed dress with major aplomb, it's Ms. Chastain here. Dragon aside, the dress was pretty simple, and she accessorized accordingly — she played up her glam side with some Old Hollywood waves, some red, red lipstick, and some (absolutely killer) emerald drop earrings.

Let's all hope the rest of the Interstellar press tour goes this glamorously!
