Miley Drops the C-Word Like It's NBD

by Alanna Bennett

Oh, Miley. Miley, Miley, Miley. Miley Cyrus is all over the place these days, and very much taking to heart the lyrics of her most recent hit. Can't stop. Won't stop. Just generally taking nothing from nobody (except maybe in the culturally-appropriating sense). Now, it appears she's taken her can't stop won't stop philosophy to the streets—she Miley Cyrus called a paparazzi the c-word today, then took to her Twitter to make sure we knew she was above the inevitable news cycle that is already coming from it.

To be fair to Cyrus, paparazzi have typically earned the root of their name (hint: It means pest), and despite the fame and fortune, it has to be hard to live a life that basically involves the sanctioned stalking and sale of photographs of you without your permission. And at least she didn't pull a Baldwin and pin the pap against a car.

Still, according to Cyrus herself, a verbal altercation of some sort occurred — in her own always-delicate phrasing, she called the paparazzi a "cunt." She doesn't seem very sorry about any of it, but to be fair we know literally nothing at this point other than Cyrus was very angry at this individual. And the pap seems to have been a he, if that makes any difference to you.

My favorite part of this entire story is the #CUNT at the end of the tweet. Such an angel.
