A Real Live Boohoo Store Is Coming To NYC

by May Sofi

Mark your calendars folks: The beloved fast fashion e-tailer Boohoo.com is coming to a street near you. That's right, as of this Saturday Boohoo is opening a pop-up shop in Soho, marking it's first ever physical store. The space is said to be nearly 4,000 square feet, two levels, and will carry 8,000 womenswear and menswear pieces in a variety of prices as low as $20. Yowza! Thank you Boohoo for giving us all an excuse to start our holiday shopping early (Christmas is only two months away right?!)

A cross between ASOS and Forever 21, the brand boasts a tagline that is similar to that of many other brands, "combining cutting-edge design with an affordable price tag" but the difference is, Boohoo actually does it right, so right. There is nothing I hate more than falling absolutely in love with a piece, just to have it arrive looking ill-fitting and completely different than it did on the website. In my previous ordering experience, Boohoo stays true to their motto, providing good quality, on-trend styles for an unbeatable price. I mean, come on, $44 for a printed jumpsuit?! It doesn't get better than that. If all that wasn't good enough, we can now try on the clothes before we buy them. YAY.

The launch of this "little brick-and-mortar" is a way for Boohoo to connect with the American consumer in a meaningful way, says Carol Kane to WWD, co-founder and CEO of Boohoo. I don't know about you, but I'm always more inclined to buy something if I've had the chance to touch, feel and see it in person, so I'm thrilled about a physical store being in place.

You can shop the pop-up starting Saturday November 1st until November 15th at 462 West Broadway.
