Where Are Jessa & Ben Honeymooning?

by Nicole Pomarico

I thought I was excited when 19 Kids and Counting's Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard, but I was wrong. Real excitement is what I'm feeling over Jessa Duggar's wedding to Ben Seewald, because from the pictures People has shared with us so far, it's definitely more my speed. After all, how gorgeous was Jessa's blush colored dress? I want one of my own, just to wear around the house and out to run errands and stuff. But that's beside the point. Now that the wedding's over, and Jessa and Ben are officially married, they're allowed to do stuff like front hug and kiss, so obviously, this means they've been busy posting plenty of PDA on Instagram while on their honeymoon. But the million dollar question is this: Where did Jessa go on her honeymoon?

Wherever they are, they didn't jet off right away. Josh Duggar posted a photo of he and his wife, Anna, kissing as Ben and Jessa also lock lips beside them (totally unnecessary, guys. Ugh), which means they either stuck around after the wedding while their family was in town or they made a pit stop in Washington, D.C. when Josh and Anna live before they left for their final destination. Unfortunately, this is the only concrete info that's available where their post-wedding activities are concerned.

Of course, it's totally understandable that the new Seewalds would want to keep their honeymoon location a secret, but that doesn't mean I'm not trying to figure out where they are anyway. Thanks to the clues given in the Instagram photos they've shared so far, I can make a few guesses — they're just not very good ones. For example, these clues I'm talking about? There are exactly two of them: they're somewhere that the weather requires jackets, and they're somewhere near a stone wall. This is true for most of the continental U.S. right now, so no help there.

Fans at Free Jinger — a snarky Duggar-themed message board where I spend far too much of my time — seem to think they're in the Ozarks, a group of mountains spread across Arkansas and Missouri. It would make a lot of sense if that was the location they chose, because not only are the Ozarks beautiful, but it's also where the glass church was that Ben proposed in. Sigh. Young love.

It's possible we'll get answers when 19 Kids and Counting returns for the next season, but I'm hoping that once they're back, they'll share photos that are more revealing of where they've been. But in the meantime? Let's let these two crazy kids honeymoon in peace. It's their first opportunity to spend any time alone, sans cameramen and chaperones and Jim Bob's terrifyingly watchful eye.
