11 Stars Who Had Huge Hollywood Makeovers (Lookin' at You, Kim & Beyonce)

If you made me a celebrity tomorrow and then told me that I had to figure out a way to dress in acceptable famous person attire, I'm not sure how I would handle it. Luckily, no one really becomes famous overnight — transforming into a bonafide celebrity takes years of hard work, reality show appearances, and, on occasion, actual talent. Check out the photos of celebrities who were completely made over by Hollywood.

Kim Kardashian, 2006

Kardashian’s style was more appropriate for walking around the mall than the red carpet. (Then again, it was the mid-2000s. Everyone looked like we were going to the mall.)

Kim Kardashian, 2014

You can thank Hollywood’s fashion influence, but the guy you might want to really applaud for Kardashian’s stunning style is her husband, Kanye West.

Taylor Swift, 2006

Swift started her days on the country scene, hence the cute cowboy boots. I still miss her curly blonde locks, too.

Taylor Swift, 2014

The perpetually well-dressed singer (whose now ventured into the pop world) could double as a fashion model. Maybe it’s because she hangs out with so many.

Angelina Jolie, 2014

The A-list actress, philanthropist, and mother to a whole bunch of kids has a far more traditional Hollywood style these days, but never forget the cool leather strapless number she wore to the premiere of Maleficent. Because as much as Hollywood can change a celebrity, their personal style always comes through.
