Diem Brown Fans Remember Her on Twitter

We're very sad to report that star of many Real World/Road Rules Challenges Diem Brown has passed away at the young age of 32 on Friday, unfortunately losing her fight with cancer. She was an inspiration to her fans and to cancer victims and survivors, bravely sharing her story through her blog with People, something so difficult to do when you are struggling through such a painful illness. Despite it all, Brown kept smiling throughout, encouraging others fighting diseases to maintain hope, because hope is the most important weapon in the fight against illness.

Brown had so many fans and supporters around the world who admired her tenacity and openness about her journey, and her philanthropic efforts with her charity MedGift to use her fame to spread awareness about cancer. On Friday, the many people who loved her expressed their grief and appreciation on Twitter, thanking her for her bravery. She told People in October, "I want people to know that the fight is worth it. And that's something that's so important for me." Not only did she maintain her spirit with the disease that she was diagnosed with at the young age of 23, she encouraged others to have strength, too. Rest in peace, Diem.
