'Shark Tank' Brings Tipsy Elves Back Just in Time

Christmas bells are getting ready to ring — so shouldn't your Christmas apparel make some noise too? That's what the company Tipsy Elves, who will appear on Shark Tank for an update this Friday, thinks. Founders Evan Mendelsohn and Nick Morton were on Shark Tank during Season 5 and dreamboat Shark Robert Herjavec invested in them. (Herjavec said of the company, "You have a highly educated lawyer making 200 grand a year, quits his job to sell inappropriate Christmas sweaters. How can you not love that?") They'll return to the show for an update on their business, and hopefully show off some of their new products.

They have a wide array of holiday apparel for men and women — with sweaters, leggings, jumpsuits, hats, socks, and "swants" (which are sweater pants — but I only see them for men, which makes me real sad. Equality, people! But I guess women do have leggings). And let me specify that "holiday" firmly means Christmas here — the name of the company is Tipsy Elves, after all. Although, they give a halfhearted attempt to branch out from Christmas with one Hanukkah sweater, some turkey shirts, and a few drunk St. Patty's-themed shirts.

In honor of their return to Shark Tank, let's check out Tipsy Elves' best new gear for the 2014 Christmas season.

The Reindeer Humping Cardigan

At first, I was just so enamored by this festive cardigan that I didn't even see that the reindeers were humping. Oops. So maybe it's not the most appropriate choice for your company's holiday party, but it is pretty cute (besides the fornicating caribou), right? It was previously offered in white, but Tipsy Elves has branched out with the colors and clothing options you can get this classy pattern on.

The Reindeer Onesie

If you like your reindeer more PG-rated, then the pink reindeer jumpsuit may be more you style. Plus, it's a freaking jumpsuit! For the love of Kris Kringle, I'd never take it off.

The Christmas Carol-Inspired Sweater

If you ever needed a more visual depiction of the song "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer," Tipsy Elves are here for you. This sweater comes in both men's and women's sizes, so people of all genders can relive the time grandma drank too much eggnog on Christmas Eve.

The Array of Cat Sweaters

The Tipsy Elves know how important cats are to the holiday season. There are multiple sweaters featuring feline friends, but this 3-D cat sweater with bells, red bows, and pom poms is by far the best. They claim it is machine washable, so you won't lose any of the snowballs on the front — or back.

The Yeti Sweater

This yeti sweater reminds me of the Abominable Snow Monster from the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stop-motion animation movie. Except this yeti is looking for love under the mistletoe. Awwww. I want to warm his frozen heart.

The Traditional Ugly Sweater

The most important weapon in your holiday clothing arsenal is the true traditional ugly sweater. Now, while I advise people to go to your local Goodwill or thrift store to find a vintage ugly sweater, this Bells Are Ringing sweater (coming soon) from Tipsy Elves is a pretty spot-on recreation. I can just envision how fabulous this sweater would look while standing next to a fireplace and drinking a glass of wine. And isn't that what Christmas is all about? There's a reason the elves are tipsy.
