It has got to be tough being a short male. Women can wear heels and plan outfits to elongate their legs, but there is not much for a guy to do. Usually the best way to over come being vertically challenged is to have an outrageous personality. This is probably why a lot of comedians are shorties. I feel like funny people can get away with whatever they want. But being short has not stopped these 17 celebrities from making it big in Hollywood. Some names are obvious but others just may surprise you. "He's really that short?" Yeah, but not when he's standing on his wallet.

Bruno Mars is very lucky that he can sing and write songs to win over the ladies. The singer is only 5’5”, something that was very apparent when he stood next to 5’10” Taylor Swift at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
